Craig here with another story from my trip back to Scotland this summer.

夏の帰国についてのブログの続きです。

The weather was so beautiful but it was a bit hot.  On my first day at my parents house, I went for an early morning walk with my dad around the village.

ほとんど毎日が晴天で嬉しかったのですが、少し暑かったです。実家に帰って初日の早朝に父親と村の周りを散歩しました。

We picked some berries from a tree and ate them while we walked.  My village is a quite rural and quiet.

木からさくらんぼを採って食べながら歩きました。私の故郷はかなり田舎の方で静かなところです。

I used to think it was so boring when I was younger but I saw it in a different light when I went back.  The surroundings are so beautiful and it is so peaceful.

小さい頃はつまらなく感じていましたが、今回、景色の素晴らしさと町の平穏さに感動しました。

I feel lucky that I was able to grow up in such a beautiful place.

こんな素敵な場所で育てられた私は恵まれているなぁと改めて感じました。
