This week we had a test for phonics.  The students were really nervous but they did well.

今週は発音法の授業でテストを行いました。学生は緊張していましたが、よく頑張ったと思います。

We will continue the course next semester but they gave some really good feedback on the course so far.

引き続き発音法の授業は、後期も実施する予定ですが、学生からとても良いフィードバックをもらったので紹介します。

“I changed my way of thinking about pronunciation.”

発音についての考え方が変わりました！

“Practicing vowel sounds that we don’t have in Japanese was difficult, but I really enjoyed learning about English pronunciation.”

日本語にはない母音の音の練習は難しかったのですが、楽しみながら勉強できました。

“I’ve never studied phonics before, but I can see that it is very important if you want to be good at speaking English.”

発音法を勉強するのは初めてでしたが、英語を上手に話せるようになるのにはすごく重要だと感じました。

“I realized that even a small mistake can completely change the meaning of a sentence so I really want to focus on getting it right.”

少しでも発音の音を間違えると意味が変わってしまうので、正確な発音を言えるように頑張りたいです。
