2年生のSituation Englishという授業では英語でディスカッションしながら、それぞれのSNSについて学びます。

今回はブログの対しての授業を行いました。

Hi, everyone. My name is Natsuki and I work part-time at USJ.

Not just that, but I have had a USJ annual pass for 7 years now, so I think I know how to enjoy USJ as much as possible, and I’d like to share that with you.

There are few things you should do before you go to USJ.

First, get your tickets online so that you don’t have to get in a line to buy a ticket.

Second, install the USJ app on your phone. If you do so, you can get a numbered ticket to enter Super Nintendo world and register your companion’s and your ticket in someone’s smartphone.

Fourth, check the opening time and arrive 1 hour to 30 minutes before the park opens. Sometimes the park opens earlier.

Fifth, make a list of which rides you’d like to ride. I think you should definitely ride the Hollywood Dream – The Ride – Backdrop. I really like them because you can listen to music during the ride.

After you enter the park, you should go to the ride that you’d like to ride and while you’re waiting, apply for the numbered ticket to enter Super Nintendo World. The time when you can enter is written on the ticket. The sooner you apply the earlier time you get.

Once you leave the Super Nintendo World area or if you arrive there late, you can’t re-enter so be careful. 

Everyone has lunch from 12 p.m to 1:30 p.m so avoid that time to have lunch. If you really would like to have lunch during that time, you should go to Amity Landing Restaurant, Discovery Restaurant, or HAPPINESS Cafe. These restaurants are relatively empty. 

Amity Landing Restaurant sells sandwiches. Discovery Restaurant sells rice bowls. HAPPINESS Cafe sells curry, chicken, and hamburgers. 

There are few things you don’t want to miss out. For example the NO LIMIT! Parade at 2 p.m. You can see all the USJ characters and Pokemons appear in that parade. It only happens once a day, so don’t miss it out. 

Also if you want to buy souvenirs, you should buy them before you leave, because if you buy them in the morning, you have to carry them around all day or you have to rent a locker.

Now I would like to give you an example of what I would do if it was my first time in USJ.

If the opening time is 8 a.m and the closing time is 7 p.m. I would arrive at USJ at 7 a.m. Then I would go to Space Fantasy The Ride because it has a collaboration with characters not related to USJ. I would get a Super Nintendo World’s numbered ticket while waiting in the line. After I ride that I would go to the Flying Dinosaur. Then it might be the time to enter  The Super Nintendo World so I would go there and ride Mario Kart and Yoshi’s Adventure. Then it would probably be 12 p.m so I would walk around and watch the street show until 1:30 pm. Then I would go to Louie’s N.Y. Pizza Parlor. That’s my most favorite restaurant. And I would eat outside because I can watch the NO LIMIT! Parade from there. And then I would watch Waterworld, Universal Monsters Live Rock And Roll Show, SING on Tour or go to Harry Potter area. Then it would probably be around 4 p.m. So I would ride Hollywood Dream the Ride or Backdrop. After that I would buy souvenirs. That’s it.

These are my recommendations. As long as you’re aware of these things, you can enjoy USJ.
